Field Care Supervisor – East of England
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Surrounding areas

Reports to: Registered Manager
Role Purpose
Take the lead in supervising a team of committed carers delivering live-in and visiting care. As a Field Care Supervisor, you'll ensure the care delivered is exceptional, compliant, and in line with Trinity Homecare’s commitment to safe, responsive, and compassionate service.
Key Responsibilities
Service Operations

Coordinate and maintain day-to-day care rotas and field operations.

Log all activity using People Planner, including compliance updates and communication records.

Support coordination and ensure Trinity’s care standards are reflected across all activities.

Encourage a professional, respectful tone in all telephone communications.
Quality & Compliance

Conduct reviews of care plans and logbooks; verify medication and finance documentation.

Perform spot checks and supervision visits to assess staff performance and adherence.

Produce regular reports on compliance, training, and quality outcomes.

Escalate safeguarding concerns swiftly, documenting all issues per policy.
On-Call Duties
Governance & Monitoring

Support implementation of Trinity’s internal quality audit framework.

Plan and track client reviews, reassessments, carer competencies and training schedules.

Collaborate with management to address underperformance and identify upskilling opportunities.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Qualities:

Experience in care provision at supervisory or equivalent level.

Strong written, verbal, and administrative skills.
-
Working knowledge of care legislation and digital systems.
-
UK driving licence and access to personal vehicle.

Enhanced DBS clearance.
Desirable Assets:

NVQ Level 2 or higher in Health & Social Care.

Experience as Senior Carer, Team Leader or Field Supervisor.

Calm under pressure, with strong decision-making and empathy.

Flexible and responsive to emergencies or change.
