Pay: £12.80 – £15.00 per hour

What you’ll receive

• £12.80 – £15.00 per hour depending on qualifications

• Paid travel time

• 45p per mile mileage

• Full training and ongoing support

Driving requirement

As this is a community-based role, you must have:

• A valid UK driving licence

• Access to your own car

Availability requirement

You must be able to work at least every other weekend, as weekend support is essential for our clients.

Shift patterns available

We have a range of shifts available, including:

• 07:00 – 14:00

• 14:00 – 22:00

• 16:00 – 22:00

What you’ll be doing

As a Care Assistant, you’ll support clients with day-to-day living, helping them remain independent while receiving the care and companionship they need.

Your role may include:

• Providing companionship, conversation and emotional support

• Helping clients get up, dressed and ready for the day

• Supporting with personal care, including washing, bathing and grooming

• Preparing meals and supporting with shopping

• Helping with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and bed making

• Supporting with medication and wellbeing

• Accompanying clients to appointments or social activities

• Working alongside healthcare professionals and keeping accurate care records

Every client is different, so you’ll follow personalised care plans that are tailored to each person’s needs, routines and preferences.

Previous care experience is welcome, but not essential. What matters most is that you have the right values and a genuine desire to support others. Full training will be provided.
