Trinity Homecare is looking for caring, reliable people in and around Hastings and surrounding areas to join our visiting care team.

This is a visiting care role, so you’ll need a full UK driving licence and your own car.

When we need you

We’re looking for Care Assistants who can offer:

• Weekday availability across mornings and/or evenings
• Alternate weekends
• We’ll discuss your availability and how this matches the hours our clients currently need.

  Your pay

• £12.80–£15.00 per hour
• Paid travel time between clients
• Mileage: 45p per mile

  Where you’ll work

  You’ll support clients across Hastings and surrounding areas. As a community-based Care Assistant, you must be comfortable travelling between clients’ homes throughout the local service area.

  What you’ll be doing

  You’ll visit clients in their own homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable and as independent as possible. Your visits could include:

• Companionship and conversation
• Personal care and helping clients get ready for their day
• Preparing meals and supporting with medication
• Shopping and light household tasks
• Accompanying clients to appointments or activities
• Encouraging independence and wellbeing
• Following individual care plans and recording the support you provide

  What we’re looking for

  Previous care experience is welcome, but it isn’t essential. We’ll provide the training and support you need.

  You’ll need to be:

• Caring, patient and compassionate
• Reliable and comfortable working independently
• A good communicator
• Available during the week and on alternate weekends
• A full UK driving licence holder with access to your own car
• Covered by appropriate business-use motor insurance before undertaking visits
• Eligible to work in the UK

  What you’ll receive

• Paid travel time between clients
• 45p per mile mileage
• 28 days’ annual leave pro rata
• Free DBS check and uniform
