Trinity Homecare is growing its care services around East Grinstead, and we're looking for caring, reliable people from the local area to join our team.
While we continue to grow our client base in East Grinstead, you don't need to wait for local care hours to become available. We already have established clients around Edenbridge and across our wider service area, giving you the opportunity to pick up care hours now while becoming part of the team we're building in East Grinstead.
You'll need to be happy travelling to these clients while our East Grinstead service continues to grow.
You'll be paid £13.80 per hour for travel time between clients, plus 45p per mile mileage.
This is a visiting care role, so you'll need a full UK driving licence and your own car.
Your pay
We believe it's important that you're clear about what you'll earn – including the time you spend travelling between clients.

Weekdays (Monday–Friday): £13.80–£15.00 per hour

Weekends (Saturday–Sunday): £14.80–£16.00 per hour

Standard public bank holidays: 2× your respective weekday rate – up to £30.00 per hour

Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve: 1.5× your respective weekday rate – up to £22.50 per hour

When we need you
Our clients need support at different times throughout the day, so we're looking for Care Assistants who can offer:

Weekday availability, particularly mornings and/or evenings
-
Alternate weekends – both Saturday and Sunday
We'll discuss your availability with you during the recruitment process and how this matches the care hours our clients currently need.
Hours available now while East Grinstead grows
We want to be transparent about where our current care hours are.
We're actively growing our services around East Grinstead, but most of our established care hours are currently in and around Edenbridge and across our wider service area.
That means you'll need to be willing to travel to existing clients while we build more care hours closer to East Grinstead.
The benefit of joining us now is that you can access established care hours rather than waiting for our East Grinstead client base to grow, while becoming part of the local team we're building for the future.
What you'll be doing
As a Care Assistant, you'll visit people in their own homes and provide personalised support that helps them remain safe, comfortable and independent.
Every client is different, but your visits could include:

Providing companionship and conversation

Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming

Helping clients get ready for their day or settle in for the evening

Preparing meals and drinks

Supporting with medication
-
Shopping and light household tasks

Accompanying clients to appointments or activities

Encouraging independence and wellbeing

Following individual care plans and accurately recording the support you provide
Above all, you'll take the time to get to know the people you support and provide care in a way that respects their individual routines, choices and independence.
Do I need previous care experience?
No. Previous professional care experience isn't essential.
Experience in care is welcome, but we're equally interested in people with the right values and attitude.
You could already work in care, be returning to the sector, or be looking for a completely new career.
